The New European Bauhaus Festival is back!

The European Commission is hosting the third edition of the New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels, Belgium, from June 9 to 13, 2026 — and Politecnico di Milano has the chance to take part!
The NEB Festival 2026 will explore, among other themes, the transformative impact of democratic participation in building more inclusive and sustainable communities. It will emphasize how empowered citizens and local authorities can actively shape their surroundings, with a special focus on affordable housing as a fundamental element of democratic involvement. Reflecting the core vision of the NEB, the Festival will be a space to rethink our built environment, prioritizing life first, then spaces and finally, buildings.

The Festival is structured around 4 main pillars:

Fair – A laboratory and exhibition showcasing projects and prototypes that reflect and advance the core values of the New European Bauhaus.

Fest – A celebration bringing together culture, art, and community, creating a shared moment of joy that honors freedom of expression and embraces bold, innovative, and disruptive ideas and visions.
